Beskrivelse
The bathing area is located on a headland on the north side of Lake Hjälmaren and has a jetty, large grassy areas, a barbecue area and an accessible bathing ramp for wheelchairs.
There is a summer café and toilet close to the bathing area. The place is a stage destination on the Hemfjärden cycle path.

The bathing area at Norra Ässundet is located on a headland between Äsön and the mainland in Hjälmaren. Access to the beach north of the bathing jetties. For those who come by bike, there is a good route description link to another website on the page about the bike trail Hemfjärden around. If you drive a car, take the E 18 towards Arboga and turn off towards Glanshammar and then towards Skävesund. It is about 2.5 km from the exit to Ässundet.
