Linnés Råshult is the place where Carl von Linné was born in 1707. Today there is a garden café and shop that is open in the summer. There are also guided tours and various workshops for those interested. See the link below for opening hours and more information about this stop which is a must when visiting Älmhult municipality.
Today, the site is managed by a foundation that wants to preserve and promote the memory of this scientist whose systematization of nature is still the basis of botany and biology. The site is also a so-called cultural reserve which, under the wings of the county administrative board, aims to cultivate the land and the land in a similar way as 300 years ago. Here are animals that graze and many plants that are quite unusual in more conventionally used agricultural environments.

Parkering
There is a large parking lot about 150 meters from the garden café. Disabled parking is available nearby and bus groups can drop off their passengers right at the café.
Kommunikationsflows
You can take public transport by bus to the Råshult stop and then walk about 400 meters. You can also take the Krösatåget train to Diö station and then walk almost 2km to Råshult.
