Ljungdalens kapell

The chapel, built in 1956 to drawings by Karl-Axel Suwe, is made of wood. The design is reminiscent of a hut. The facades are covered with wood paneling and the roof is covered with sheet metal. The interior is also made of wood, as the chapel is completely clad in wood paneling. The pulpit, altar and altar rail are also made of wood.

Next to the chapel is a belfry, also made of wood. It was completed for the cemetery in 1954, i.e. two years before the chapel was completed.

Today, the chapel in Ljungdalen belongs to Hedebygden parish.
