The route description starts from Sveg. Follow road E45 towards Älvros. Turn left onto a forest road after about 1 mile. Follow it for about 1.5 kilometers and then you are at the nature reserve

Welcome to Knätten. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• pick and collect species of any kind, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
• climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife,
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than with firewood brought in
• drive a motorized vehicle in terrain on bare ground.

Without the permission of the County Administrative Board, it is forbidden to:

• conduct or engage in organized outdoor recreation, competitions, camp activities, military exercises or other organized events,
• conduct scientific studies that involve the collection of species or have other impacts on the natural environment.
