Länkade kustleder i ett Unesco biosfärområde
Tärnö's smaller lighthouse "Tjuanabbalöjtan" was lit for the first time 1932.
The first lighthouse system was built in 1932, a structure with a lantern with a wick and a lens. The lighthouse gained electric light in 1955 and today is powered by solar panels and a battery.
During the 1930s, the lighthouse was managed by Sven Svensson. The Tjuanabbalöjtan was of benefit to all the fishermen of the archipelago.
