Fishing, boat rental and accommodation near Lake Vänern

Park the car and take a walk down to Lake Vänern. Bring a picnic basket or have a barbeque on one of our prepared barbecue areas. You can also fish from the rocks, if you're lucky you might get a bite. Freshly caught grilled fish is not so bad.

Several tables and benches are available for use.

Boat and canoe rental

Rowing boats and canoes of various sizes are available for hire for fishing or swimming trips to any of the nice little islands that exist. Life jackets are a must so it is included in the rent for boat and canoe. It is possible to bring your own motor if you rent a boat. Cleaning place for fishermen is available in the harbour. A berth for your own boat is available when you rent accommodation.

Accommodation

The Väner loft - 2 beds

Small apartment in studio form. Kitchen area with stove/oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and coffee maker and everything else needed for cooking. Combined sleeping/dining/TV room. A bunk bed, sofa that can be made into a double bed, dining area. Toilet and shower. Balcony with furniture and a fantastic view of Lake Vänern. Bed linen included.

The small cabin - 4 beds

Fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Combine dining/living room with TV/satellite. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and one with 2 beds that can be put together. Toilet/shower and washing machine. The cabin has 2 balconies, one under a roof with furniture and one without a roof with a grill and a place for sunbathing. Bed linen included.

The big cabin - 6 beds

On the upper level there is a fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer + a small fridge and dishwasher.
Combined dining/living room with TV/satellite.
Small toilet.
2 bedrooms with 2 beds each that can be put together.
Lower floor: 1 bedroom with 2 beds. Large family room with TV/satellite and boxer channels. Toilet and shower.
Balcony with furniture and barbecue.

Internet is available in the Väner loft and The small cabin but not wifi, it is only in Storstugan.
It is also possible to borrow a rowing boat for renters by agreement with the owner.
