Opis
Lomselet contains an uneven-aged and patchy pine heath forest. The forest was cut down to size in the winter of 1918 and today the stand is dominated by middle-generation pines. There are also some pines from the oldest generation. The area has been burned and you can see the sounds of fire on older pines. There are also small wetlands in the reserve.
The reserve borders in the south on Malån, which is of national interest for nature conservation. The area is relatively easily accessible as it is close to a forest road.
