Karaby Gård is a peaceful farm stay just 3 km from Kristinehamn’s city center. Here you live close to animals and nature – with horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. A perfect place for families, nature lovers and anyone looking for a quiet countryside experience.

Rooms for every need

The farm offers different types of rooms: single, double, family rooms, attic rooms with private bathrooms, and a separate cottage with kitchen. There are 22 beds in total, and extra beds can be added. Guests can use shared kitchens, lounges and a large garden with barbecue, trampoline and swings. Bed linen and towels can be rented.

Farm life and local food

In the garden, friendly cats will greet you. On the ground floor, you can enjoy free coffee, tea and cookies. The small farm shop sells homemade bread, fresh eggs, apple juice and products from the farm – like lamb meat, wool and flowers. In summer, a small café is open.

Close to nature and activities

The farm is surrounded by forest and fields, with walking trails and places to pick berries and mushrooms. Nearby you’ll find mountain bike trails and a bike park. Across the road stands one of Sweden’s oldest rune stones – a fun and historic walk for all ages.
