Bagarstugan i Borgvik

Sinter building, 1½ floors, from the end of the 19th century. One room for housing and one for the baking oven. Hedda and her daughter Hilda lived here, baking bread for the people in the district. Bread is still baked in the baker’s cottage by ladies from the local folklore association. The cottage may be rented for baking. The Baker´s cottage is open on Midsummer eve.

How to get there:
From Karlstad take the E18 to Nyängsrasta. Take a right, towards Grums, in the roundabout. Drive about 2 km, turn right to Borgvik, 14 km.
