In Toran there are open pastures and closed oak forest. Some of the oaks are very, very old.
Part of Toran has been restored to deciduous meadow. There, the trees have been cut down to let in more light to the herbs on the ground. In the summer, the meadow is mowed and then sheep or cows are let out to graze. The area is bounded by beautiful fences.
