Opis
The loop is about 400 meters long and runs partly along Håltjärnsbäcken. There are 12 signs posted here with information about river pearl mussels, various values in water, forestry's consideration for water and the EU project GRIP about LIFE. Adjacent to the loop there is a parking lot and a picnic area with picnic benches and a fireplace. You need to bring your own firewood if you want to grill.

Drive from Skinnskatteberg on road 233 towards Kopparberg. After about 10 km turn right at the small blue sign Lilla Håltjärnen. After about 1.1 km keep right when the road splits. Drive about 400 meters to the parking lot.
