Snusbullraeken

At the end of the 19th century, an old woman called Bullran lived in Tyresö. Here in the oak tree she ran a small shop, where she sold snuff and sweets to passers-by.

The oak is hollow and at that time had a door. In 1929, the opening was bricked up with cement. The year is engraved in the cement.

This was told by a former forest ranger at the Tyresö estate, Anders Olof Willix, born in Tyresö in 1900. He had in turn received the information from his father Anders Willix, born in 1854.
