Opis
Spring water has flowed here for millennia. Perhaps this was the water that the first inhabitants of the area drank? They were Stone Age people who hunted seals and fished.
The water is stored and purified inside the pebble ridge that runs next to Sandasjön. It is also the ridge that makes the ground so sandy and rocky. The environment attracts special plants and animals.
Sandasjön is a fine bathing and fishing lake - but without an organized bathing area. The Sörmland Trail passes nearby.
