Ormskär skärgård

Of the islands in this small archipelago, the main island, Ormskär, rises surprisingly high out of the sea. The vegetation is sparse. The island is named after the vipers and snakes, but in general the animal and bird life is similar to that found in the rest of the outer archipelago. There is only one private jetty on the main island - visitors are therefore advised to go ashore along the rocky shores. Please be considerate.
