Opis
Järflotta Nature Reserve is a beautiful and varied archipelago area with sandy beaches, pine forest, and open agricultural land. Here you can enjoy swimming, walking, and birdwatching in a unique environment.
The soft sandy beaches are unusual in the county and are home to several protected plant species.
The reserve includes several islands and skerries that are important breeding sites for birds such as the Caspian tern, razorbill, common guillemot, black guillemot, and herring gull. To protect the birds, Kalksten and the Gunnarstenarna islets are designated bird protection areas with access restrictions during certain times of the year. Please read the regulations to see exactly what applies.
The reserve protects both plant and animal life while also offering excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation in a tranquil archipelago setting.
