The reserve has scattered infestations of spruce bark beetle. This means that there are a lot of dead standing spruces in the forest and along the paths.
The trees can fall suddenly and without warning. Keep an eye out and avoid visiting the reserve when it is windy!
Opis
Here you can sit on the benches around the fireplace and look out over the lake. You need to bring your own firewood or collect it from one of the wood stores along the Sörmland Trail.
Take care of the benches! There is a chopping block/manual wood splitter you can use next to the wood stores.

The campfire site is located along the Sörmlandsleden trail, about 2 kilometers from Stora Envättern's entrance and visitor parking.
Regulamin
To protect the Stora Envättern nature reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage rock, soil or stone by drilling, hacking, blasting, carving, digging, painting or similar
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs or otherwise damage vegetation by digging up plants such as rice, herbs, mosses or lichens or removing woody fungi
- disturbing wildlife (for example, by climbing nest trees, trapping or killing mammals, birds, reptiles or amphibians)
- fishing
- catching and collecting invertebrates
- bringing an unleashed dog
- camping for more than two consecutive days
- make a fire other than in a designated place
- put up a board, poster, poster, sign or make an inscription
- drive a motorized vehicle or ride a bicycle off the road.
