The nature reserve is located in Dävelsöfjärden, in the Stockholm Archipelago. It comprises several islands, mainly covered by open pine forest with some deciduous trees.
There are no visitor facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

Regulamin
To protect Dävelsöfjärden Nature Reserve, there are rules that all visitors must follow.
Within the reserve, it is prohibited to:
- destroy or damage permanent natural features or land formations
- dig up flowers or damage ground vegetation
- deliberately disturb wildlife
- have a dog off leash
- camp for more than two consecutive nights
- light fires
- use musical instruments, sound systems, or similar equipment in a disturbing manner
