Obecnie
The nature reserve has areas affected by spruce bark beetle. Many spruce trees have died and may fall over time, so please be cautious and avoid visiting during windy weather.
The beetles only attack living trees and do not remain in dead wood. Dead trees are left in place to support biodiversity, as they provide important habitats for wildlife, mosses, and lichens.
Opis
In Allemora Nature Reserve, you can experience spruce forest on lime-rich soils, rocky pine forest, and deciduous woodland.
The reserve is home to a rich biodiversity, which is especially noticeable in autumn. This is when fungi appear in full splendor—webcaps, tooth fungi, and bracket fungi! In addition, several unusual vascular plants, lichens, and mosses can be found here.
Thanks to the nutrient-rich soils, the area also supports unusually large and tall spruce trees.
There are no marked trails or other visitor facilities in the reserve.

The nature reserve is most easily reached by car via Road 977. There is no designated visitor parking lot.
The nearest bus stop is located at Sättra vägskäl, approximately 3 kilometers east of the reserve. A few smaller paths and an old forestry road run through the area, but there are currently no marked trails.
Regulamin
To protect nature in Allemora Nature Reserve, there are rules that must be followed. Within the reserve, it is prohibited to:
- dig, chip, drill, or otherwise damage rock, soil, or stone
- cut down or otherwise damage both living and dead trees and shrubs
- damage vegetation by digging up plants or removing mosses, lichens, or wood-inhabiting fungi
Exception:
- Trees that have fallen across a road, path, or onto a property may be cut and moved aside.
