The area is also used by schools for play and study. There is a dog park and marked exercise tracks, one of which is illuminated. The area can be perceived more as a small forest than a park. The nature is a mixed deciduous forest with elements of conifers. There are many opportunities for parking around Björket, the two largest of which are at the ice rink and Österängskolan.

Parking
Parking is available at Kristianstad's ice rink, follow the signs along Kanalgatan. There is also a parking lot on the east side of Björket, next to österängskolan.
Komunikacja
City bus 2 towards Österäng from Kristianstad C, get off at the Skulptören stop Skånetrafiken.se.
From central Kristianstad, follow Kanalgatan's paved bike lane for just over 1km, turn right onto Prästallén and follow for 700m.
