The red trail is about 2.5 km and runs in a beautiful forest environment in the Skogssjön nature reserve.
In the Skogssjö area there are a number of nice hiking areas. Some of the hiking trails on Östgötaleden also pass through here.
In summer, when the summer café is open, you can rest and look out over Skogssjön and the outdoor pool.
