During June-July, the hay meadow at Hacksjön is transformed into a complete midsummer palette. The flowers include daisy, bluebell and fire lily. Sunflower and maidenhair fern also grow here. The meadow is also rich in butterflies. Pearl-bordered fritillary and meadow fritillary butterflies are frequent visitors.
