Kalmar betongpark

In Norrliden there is an activity park with a 1500 square meter concrete park. There are play opportunities for both large and small children. In addition to the skate park, there are good opportunities to socialize outdoors under a roof in the large pergola. There is also an outdoor gym, sledging hill, barbecues and several benches with tables. The park is located in a lush environment with plants that have edible fruits and berries such as walnut, apple, mulberry, strawberry, currant and spice plants.

• You as an adult are responsible for your children.
• Smoking, alcohol and drugs are prohibited.
• Riding is at your own risk.
• Children must wear helmets.
• The concrete park may sometimes be closed to the public during association activities.
• The concrete park is not cleared of snow.

• Show consideration for all skaters, big and small.
• Move outside the riding areas when you are not riding.
• Help keep the concrete park clean of gravel and debris.

**Playground equipment

The activity park is a versatile meeting place for children, young people and adults. The playground equipment varies in difficulty and offers both physical activity and sensory stimulation. Some examples of playground equipment:

• Kalmar's longest slide in a closed tube
• Submerged trampolines
• Carousel with space for wheelchair
• Swings with two types of seats to suit children of different ages and children with physical disabilities
• Balance games
• Tunnel made of net

Surfaces

Several of the playground equipment are placed on rubber asphalt to increase safety. The tiles also create a smooth surface which favors accessibility. Around some play equipment there is sand. The barbecue area is on stone dust.
