Floras kulle

Flora's hill, was from the later part of the 17th century part of the bastion 'Christina Regina. When this was demolished in the 1870s, a 6 m high hill remained containing the remains of the bastion walls.

In 1899, the question of establishing a plantation here was raised and first gained support. In 1905, the decision was changed and the bastion remains were transported away.

In the 1920s, gas stations were built on the site, which remained until the 1990s.

For the Union anniversary in 1997, a new small flower-covered hill was built with a small gazebo on top.
