Alegöl

Alegöl or Ålegöl, as it says on maps, is a fine rainbow water. Gölen is located about 5 km south of Hultsfred and to find it, turn off from road 34 and follow the signs. Gölen is part of Stora Hammarsjöns FVO which SFK Kroken leases. The club regularly releases rainbow trout every season. The rainbow, which is taken from a local fish farmer, is fine and combative. The water is a typical forest pond but with relatively clear water as spring water flows into the pond. The surroundings consist of pine forest and marshland. The shore is covered with pine trees and the water is sparsely vegetated with sedges and water lilies. Around the lake there are a number of jetties that make fishing easily accessible. There is a parking lot, shelter and barbecue area next to the lake.
