Prostsjöns badplats

Prostsjön is a popular swimming
beach, centrally located just 500 metres from an idyllic little town. Around
Prostsjön there is also a dog beach, a playground, footpath, outdoor gym,
benches and several barbecue areas. The barbecue areas do not provide firewood,
so bring your own and something to light it.

During
the warmer months of the year, a course of about 850 metres is marked by buoys
– the perfect swim to start the morning or end the day. Showers are installed
at the beach. The nearest neighbour is Värnamo Camping, where you can rent a
canoe, play mini-golf or buy an ice cream at the kiosk. If you want to fish in
the lake, fishing permits can be bought for Lake Vidöstern, which are also
valid in Prostsjön.
