Bunn's fisheries are classified as regionally particularly valuable with significant recreational fishing.

Bunn , which is actually 3 lakes, is located about 4 km southeast of Gränna. The height above sea level is 196.5 m, i.e. about 107 m above the surface of Vättern. Bunn is a moderately nutrient-rich lake with an area of 10.18 km2 and a maximum depth of 20.8 m. The shores are alternately steep and flat, mostly rocky. Elements of gravel and sand occur. The vegetation consists of weak - moderate reeds. The lake is mainly surrounded by coniferous forest with elements of deciduous and agricultural land. The catchment area is 170.0 km2 large and consists mostly of coniferous forest and agricultural land.

The bottom has an ecological function for red-listed species and is of some importance for bird life. The lake is also important for recreational fishing and active outdoor life. Fishing is mainly conducted for pike, perch and zander. The fishery is managed by the Northern and Southern Bunns FVOF. The total fishing effort in 2003 amounted to 3342 fish. The biological diversity can be considered quite high, mainly due to a relatively species-rich fish fauna, a large lake surface area, a high degree of fragmentation, a significant hypolimnion, a large variation in the shores, bottom material and the lake's immediate surroundings, and a diverse range of shore and aquatic vegetation.
