A barbecue area with benches and picnic tables in Kärda community. The barbecue
area is located next to the multi-purpose arena in Kärda, below the clubhouse
at Sträntevallen. Bring your own firewood and something to light it.

The
area has football pitches, a multi-purpose arena where you can play basketball,
indoor hockey, pickleball, beach volleyball and disc golf, and there is also a
pump track for cycling and a small skate park. From the barbecue area you can
walk around the illuminated trail in Kärda or around Lake Gunnen. In winter,
when it’s snowy and cold, the arena is covered with water and becomes a popular
place for ice skating. There are wonderful sledging hills nearby, for those who
want to take it easy and for more adventurous types looking for speed.
