Vandringsled, Djupaskuran-Lillån

The circular trail in the Djupaskuran–Lillån nature reserve takes you through a dramatic and varied landscape where water, steep ravines, and lush forest interact. Here you walk along the winding waters of Lillån, down into the deep fissure valley of Djupaskuran with high mountain walls, boulder-rich sections, and lush vegetation that thrives in the humid microclimate.

The area is characterized by old forest, moss-covered rocks, and a rich flora and fauna. Along the circular trail, there is also a detour that leads up to a viewpoint, where you get a beautiful view of the ravine and the surrounding landscape. The contrast between the narrow ravine sections and the more open forest sections makes the hike varied and exciting. The circular trail is well suited for a half-day trip for those who want to experience one of Småland's more dramatic natural environments on foot, at a leisurely pace and with time to stop by the water and the mighty rock formations.
