Opis
Hedemora town hall was built in 1761 after the old town hall was destroyed by fire in 1754. The upper floor was added in 1797. The mayor and the council had their offices in the town hall, followed by the town council and later the municipal administration. In the 19th century, there was a barn and stables next to the town hall when the mayor also farmed.
