Omschrijving
Many of the forests worthy of protection in the area are limestone coniferous forests with a good mix of aspen and other deciduous trees. The area's natural values are dependent on the varied, unspoiled and old forest structures. The trees in the forest, together with the good presence of dead wood, create important biotopes for vascular plants, cryptogams and fungi. There are many structures here that are important for woodland birds such as capercaillie and wolverine. There are plenty of woodpecker marks.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

Routebeschrijving
Småbodarnas nature reserve is located north of Lake Bornan in the northern part of Norrtälje municipality. However, it is located a few kilometers from public roads and is most easily reached on foot or by bicycle along forest roads where public car traffic is not allowed.
Regelingen
Om Småbodarnas natuurreservaten te beschermen, zijn er regels die je moet volgen.
In de reserve is het verboden:
boren, hacken, opblazen, snijden, graven, verf of anderszins schade toebrengen aan bergen, aarde of steen
2. val of anderszins schade zowel levende als dode bomen en struiken, en om dood hout te verwijderen
Graaf planten zoals rijst en kruiden op, of verwijder mossen, korstmossen of eerbiedwaardige schimmels
4. tent meer dan twee dagen achter elkaar.
