In the middle of Roslagen's embrace, with whitetip slopes down to Väddö Canal, there is a unique knowledge of yesterday's shipping, sailor life and seamanship. How did a sailor who signed on to a ship in the 1800s live? What did he eat, how did he sleep and what was life like on board? In the award-winning boathouse there are mail rowing boats, just as they looked 100 years ago.
