Djupbäcka naturreservat

Djupbäcka nature reserve includes one of the three wooded stream ravines between Häradsbygden and Djura. A 300 meter long path leads from the parking lot, through the reserve, to a hut. The path, which is flat, is located on a ridge between the ravine and the Österdal River.

Between the two villages of Västannor and Rälta, a road winds its way below the steep mountains to the west. Traveling on the winding road is an experience that is best done by bike. About two kilometers north of Rälta, the road makes a bend - just like the river below. Here, water flows from the mountain in deeply cut stream channels down to the river.
