Walk in the footsteps of the Pilgrims and visit the Eco Temple for reflection. Experience a cultural and historical journey on paths and roads that have been trodden by pilgrims since the 11th century.
The hike on the eighth stage of the Romboleden is beautiful with varied views. Green forest paths and easy access throuch the historic town of Ludvika. You will stay comfortably at Ludvika Grand Hotel Elektra and will enjoy the best breakfast buffet in Dalarna. You will be given a packed lunch on the tour.
The day's stage starts at Ludvika Ulrika Church and takes you to Grangärde Church. The distance is 21 km and the difficulty level is categorized as medium. There are options to walk on the footpath if desired. On the way you will pass the Eco Temple with time for thought and reflection. After the hike you can easily take the bus back to Ludvika. The next day you can explore the seventh stage of St Olav Rombo Way to Smedjebacken to experience more history and nature.
