A fascinating piece of nature, influenced by the forces of nature, but growing back. The fire made Tyresta better known as a national park, and gave the area a new attraction. Dramatically leaning and lying old trees testify to the great effect the fire had on the forest. Signs along the way tell you more.

Routebeschrijving
From the parking lot Stensjödal (11 km into Åvavägen with entrance from Dalarövägen): Walk past the miller's house at Stensjödalsängen and on towards Fornborgsslingan. This goes around Stensjön and in and out of the fire area several times. From Tyresta village: Walk Bylsjöslingan about 3 km and then follow signs towards Stensjön. From Brakmarens parking lot: Walk Storskogsslingan about halfway (4 km) in any direction.
