Fiske i Salstern och Lilla Salstern

Welcome to fish in Salstern and Lilla Salstern. The lakes are located in the forest just north of Motala.

Salstern has an area of just over 4.4 square kilometers and consists of Lilla Salstern and Stora Salstern, which are joined by the moose strait. In cold winters, the moose strait freezes over and you can get past on foot, via cross-country skis or skates. A fantastic lake for cross-country skating and pimpling. The lake is part of Motala Ström's main catchment area.

There are many beautiful summer cottage areas along Salstern's shoreline; Djupvik, Saltstersvik and Burnäset.

Here you can fish for perch and pike.

The trip around the lake is about 20 kilometers and offers a varied surface, both asphalt and gravel road.
