Omschrijving
The small reserve includes Edeforsen and the nearest forest and meadows. There used to be an old hydroelectric power station here, which the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency bought and demolished in 2002. Edeforsen is the beginning of the Ammerån river proper, and the entire stretch from the mountains is now completely unregulated.

Routebeschrijving
Vanaf de weg E45 net ten zuiden van Hammerdal gaat u af richting Skyttmon, weg 344. Na ongeveer een mijl bereikt u Edeforsen, aan de zuidelijke uitgang van de Hammerdalzee.

Welcome to Edeforsen. Keep in mind that in the reserve it is not allowed to:
- damage the land or vegetation, including dry trees and windfalls
- make a fire other than in the designated place (prepared fireplace)
- camping other than in the designated area.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
