Beskrivelse
Råkullsrundan passes the top of Hovfjället with the viewing tower. The hiking trail continues through old natural forest. The terrain alternates between rocky areas with pine forests, marshes and spruce forests. If you are lucky, you may see capercaillie or black grouse, which thrive in these areas. At Råkullsberget you have the finest viewpoint in the nature reserve. There are rest areas at Baggtjärn and Råkullstjärn. Bondfugestorp is an old croft that is now used as a resting place. There are fireplaces both inside and outside. At Bondfugestorp, the meadows are mown to preserve the meadow flora.

SERVICE: The trail is prepared from June 15. Bondfugestorp is an open picnic area. Camping 45 offers accommodation in cabins and camping. Camping 45 offers guided tours. Vitsands Hembygdsgård is located nearby.

Kommunikasjon
Värmlandstrafik bus 209 runs from Torsby travel center to the Överbyn stop. From Överbyn there is a connecting trail to the Hovfjället trail system, about 2 km. The trail connects to Hovfjällsrundan, see map. In Överbyn the connecting trail starts just north of Camping 45.
Veibeskrivelse
From Torsby you drive road E45/E16 north, about 17 km. Just north of Överbyn there are signs for "Naturreservat Hovfjället 7", to the left. The road ends at Hovfjället's large parking lot, with the ski resort on the left. The nature reserve's visitor entrance is straight ahead at the upper parking lot.
Forskrifter
It is prohibited to:
- pitching a tent or caravan/camper other than in a place designated for the purpose
- light an open fire other than in a specially prepared and designated place or if a total fire ban is issued,
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and bushes
- digging up or picking plants
- disturbing wildlife
- drive a motorized vehicle other than on an existing road,
- bring an unleashed dog or other pet. Exceptions only in connection with permitted hunting.
