Guesthouse with history by the Göta Canal
Guesthouse dating back to 1932
The yellow guesthouse Åsgården has been attracting visitors to the small village of Lyrestad since 1932. After an eventful day by the Göta Canal you will be served with a home-made meal in the dining room. In the evening you can sit back in the friendly lounge with a thrilling book or a board game. Åsgården has traditionally been a popular place to celebrate birthdays, weddings and other parties.

While staying at Åsgården, take the time to discover the scenic countryside around Lyrestad and the Göta Canal. Stroll or cycle along the canal and see and feel the arrival of spring, boating in the summer or all the fine colours of the autumn. In the winter, weather permitting, you can do some skiing or ice-skating.
