Beskrivelse
The nature in Stor-Almselberget Nature Reserve is largely untouched and can therefore be an interesting excursion destination for those who want to experience primeval forest. The area is very steep in places and can therefore be challenging to walk in. In winter, the area is more accessible as a snowmobile trail from the northwest leads up to the top of Stor-Almselberget.
At the top there is a fire tower and an overnight cabin maintained by the Meselefors snowmobile club. From the tower you have a nice view of the surrounding landscape. From the forest road south of the reserve there is a path to the top of the mountain.

Veibeskrivelse
Turn off highway 90 at Abborrviken 4 km southeast of the municipal border between Åsele and Vilhelmina. After a couple of kilometers, turn left on a forest road and drive another 4 km up towards the reserve. It is also possible to get to the reserve from the northwest via a snowmobile trail.
