Beskrivelse
Storhöjden - pine forest and leafy slopes.

The area consists of a hill located in a north-south direction, with a steep west side and a sloping east side. At the top there is a plateau that slopes gently to the north and south. The western slope has extensive scree and boulder-rich terrain, while the rocky terrain is high up on the plateau. On the eastern slope, the microclimate is wetter and there is mobile soil water in parts of the area. The presence of more demanding plants, e.g. thistle and bladderwort, is high in and below the slope, which suggests elements of greenstone in the bedrock.

Location: Värmlands län, Kils kommun, about 4 kilometers north of Fagerås. Turn off the E45 east towards Tolita 7 km north of Fagerås. Keep right at the first intersection and drive 2.5 km on the gravel road to the reserve's parking lot (NOTE! There is no parking lot yet).
Forskrifter
In addition to other statutory provisions, it is prohibited in the reserve to
- felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees or bushes, standing or fallen
- collecting invertebrates, mosses, lichens and wood fungi
- driving vehicles
- tipping or stockpiling
- bringing dogs that are not on a leash
- making fires.
Exceptions:
- The prohibition on bringing an off-leash dog does not apply to hunting with dogs.
