Beskrivelse
Norrängsskogen's nature reserve is varied, with old rocky pine forest, partly deciduous coniferous forest, deciduous riparian forest and pure coniferous forest on fresh to moist soil. Several structures in the forest indicate that forest grazing took place in the area quite far into the 20th century, including a noticeable patchiness and a relatively sparse shrub layer. A seven-hectare hygge from the 1990s is included in the reserve as a reinforcement zone.
Visitors can roam freely in the nature reserve. Apart from information signs, there are no facilities for outdoor activities.

Norrängsskogens naturreservat omfattar 46 hektar skogsmark på nordvästra delen av Singö, cirka 13 kilometer nordväst om Grisslehamn.
SL-buss stannar vid Ellans vändplan. Härifrån är reservatet tillgängligt till fots, 500 meters promenad till reservatsgränsen. Sök resa på SL -Storstockholms lokaltrafik.
Forskrifter
To protect the Norrängsskogen nature reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any other way damage rock, soil or stone
- felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and bushes or removing dead wood
- damaging vegetation by digging up plants such as reeds and herbs, or removing mosses, lichens or woody fungi
- burning.
