Beskrivelse
Gisslingö is a 2.5 km long island, mainly covered in coniferous forest with elements of both marshes and rocky areas. Remains of old farmland, some of which is still managed today, can be found on the western part of Gisslingö. Apart from farm buildings on western Gisslingö, the island is undeveloped.

Forskrifter
To protect Gisslingö Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to
- dig, hack, drill or otherwise damage rock, soil or stone
- cut down or damage living or dead trees or bushes
- damage vegetation by digging up plants
- camping for more than two consecutive days in the same place.
