**How do I get there?

Välkommaberget is located in Malmberget. The path up to the top can be found a bit after Puoitakvägen where you can get there by car or bike if you want. Where the road splits into a Y (just before the Blue Lagoon) you can park your car/bike. The last bit to the top (about 2 km) is on foot. From the road there is a well-trodden but rocky path that takes you all the way to the top.

**Facts

The walk up to the top is well worth the effort as at your final destination you have a fantastic view of the entire community, Dundret, the surrounding lakes and the mountain range to the west. Many people are used to seeing Gällivare/Malmberget from the top of Dundret, but from here the view is just as breathtaking.

**Difficulty level: medium

Terrain: The last part of Puoitakvägen is a bit bumpy. The path up to the top is rocky and uneven so walk carefully.

Tips: Please bring a bottle of water and shoes that are stable to walk in. If you have walking poles, it can be good to bring in the slightly uneven terrain.

Be careful with nature, take your trash with you when you leave the site.
