Beskrivelse
Selets bruk works is a scenic industrial cultural historical setting, with fields and meadows landscape surrounding the calmly flowing Aleån stream. Among other things there is a furnace ruin and different house foundations that were connected to the works. The area is 0.2 square kilometres and there is a ban on snowmobiling.

Selets bruk lies about 24 kilometres west-northwest of Luleå. The reserve lies easily accessible at road, about 8 kilometres southwest of Avan, on the south side of the Lule river.

Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- make fires in designated barbecue areas
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
Fishing at Selets bruk is not allowed for the public. Only landowners have fishing rights.
It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!

Varit där. Tyvärr har man sålt iväg raststugorna så nu känns stället lite dött och ovårdat
