Beskrivelse
Gällivare's modern upper secondary and adult education school was inaugurated in 2020. It is designed to be adaptable to new working methods and future needs. The Kunskapshuset is an important meeting place in Gällivare, where education, culture and community life meet in the same building.
The school was designed by Liljewall Arkitekter together with MAF Arkitektkontor. It has been noted for its wooden architecture and its strong connection to Sámi culture, which is visible in the colours, patterns and artistic design in the interior and exterior.
