There is a parking space at the eastern side of the reserve.

Take the road that goes from Lenhovda to Älghult. Turn south at the white sign that says “Kärngöl naturreservat”. Follow that road for about 3 km. After 3 km the road takes a sharp right-turn. Keep driving on the road for about 2 km and then you reach the reserve’s parking space.

You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:

1. park or drive a motorized vehicle other than on roads and parking spaces designated for this purpose
2. disturb the wildlife, for example by approaching a nesting site or similar
3. destroy or damage fixed natural objects or surface formations, for example by digging, drilling, painting, chiseling or otherwise damaging rocks, boulders or the like
4. breaking branches, felling or otherwise damaging living or dead standing or fallen trees and bushes
5. pick or dig up rice, herbs, mushrooms, mosses and lichens other than berries and edible mushrooms for domestic use
6. collect insects, shells, worms or other invertebrates
7. camping or setting up a caravan
8. make fires other than in prepared fireplaces
9. put up a board, sign, poster or similar device

Measures for scientific research that have been approved in advance by the County Administrative Board are exempt from regulations 2, 5 and 6.
