Beskrivelse
The forest in Snedmyran is a blissful mix of spruce, pine and deciduous trees of various kinds. Rare ticks grow among the decaying flames, and many rarities thrive in the chalky wet. In the forest, conifers and deciduous trees sing together in the wind. Perhaps they are singing to the shy princess of the forest, the beautiful norn.

The reserve is located just over a mile northeast of Hammarstrand. From road 87, turn off towards Halån and follow the road north for about a mile. There you turn right onto a forest road, after two kilometers there is a crossing where a worse forest road turns left. From this junction it is 700 meters to the reserve's border, it is safest to walk this distance as the road is bad.

Welcome to Snedmyran. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
- picking and collecting species of any kind except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make a fire, other than with firewood
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
