The reserve is located 1.5 miles southeast of Ytterhogdal. From Ytterhogdal you drive towards Fåssjö, where you turn right towards Grytåtorpen and Känne. Then follow the road signs along forest roads until you come to a parking lot with an information board.

Welcome to Råtjärnberget-Djupdalsberget. Keep in mind that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• make fires, except in specially designated places
• felling living or standing dead trees and processing lying dead wood
• capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
• damaging land, rocks or vegetation
• picking and collecting natural products (such as woodland fungi, lichens and mosses) except for berries and edible mushrooms
• collect invertebrates, such as beetles and land molluscs
• driving motorized vehicles off-road throughout the area
• marking trails, organizing orienteering checks or holding competitions
• constructing snowmobile trails.
