An easily visited recreational area with lovely old natural forest. There are plenty of large deciduous trees, rich bird life, beautiful herbs and a long list of red-listed wood fungi.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located 3.5 miles northeast of Strömsund. From the E45 road three miles north of Strömsund, turn east towards Rossön. Half a mile before Rossön, the road runs along the northern border of the reserve, a sign shows the way to the parking lot.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Bollsberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- make fires except in specially designated places
- drive motorized vehicles off-road throughout the area
- climbing trees or rocks, or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
- damaging the ground, boulders or vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- pick and collect natural products (such as wood fungi, lichens and mosses) with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms
- carry out scientific studies without the permission of the County Administrative Board.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
