Beskrivelse
Most of the forest in Skrockeberg is coniferous. On some slopes and precipices there is also broadleaf forest. Giant beech trees grow here that are up to 250 years old. Old and dying beech trees give a feeling of primeval forest.
Skrockeberg is surrounded by a hilly landscape with hills and crevice valleys with deeply cut streams. The west-facing slope of the mountain has vertical cliffs and fallen rocks.

Veibeskrivelse
Directions: From road 26 Halmstad - Hyltebruk, at the height of Johansfors, turn left towards Digeshult and drive about 2 kilometers north, connecting from Drareds- Dalshultvägen. Just after the 90-degree left turn, take the first right and pass a horse farm. After 200 meters the road splits. Turn left where there is a small parking area after a few meters. The reserve is then along the continuation of the road. The road is not suitable for cars.
Forskrifter
To protect the nature reserve, the County Administrative Board has decided on special regulations, including those that you as a visitor to the area must follow and respect.
In addition to what applies under other legislation, it is forbidden to:
- damage living or dead, standing or lying trees and shrubs and damage the vegetation in general, e.g. by digging up plants,
- camping and setting up a caravan or motor home
- making fires
- driving a motorized vehicle other than for parking in a designated place,
- carrying out commercial activities
- bring an unleashed dog or other loose pet, and
- organize marked trails or orientation checks.
